Ski holiday destination Grevenstein is located near Meschede in Sauerland in Germany. Grevenstein is best known for its two cross-country skiing trails. These two Grevenstein cross-country tracks both provide a wonderful journey through the region. Grevenstein Slope 1 is about 7km of prepared trails at an altitude of nearly 200 meters in a sloping route. Grevenstein track 2 starts at Parkplatz Buchsplit and is about 3.5 km long. In addition to the cross-country tracks in Grevenstein, nordic walking or winter hikes are also popular in this region. With three beautiful routes for winter hikers, Grevenstein offers more than enough walking trails: Auf der Heide, over the Uchtenberg and the walking trail around Uchtenberg. There is only 1 ski slope for alpine skiers, but this is still a lot of fun as a day trip with the kids.

Sauerland has a collection of smaller ski areas, many of which are accessible via the ski pass, the Ski Arena Card. This ski pass includes Skiliftkarussell Winterberg, Willingen, Postwiesen, Neuastenberg, Sahnehang, Züschen, and Skikarussell Altastenberg. With more than 60 lifts (including 6 chair lifts) that carry you to 50 km of ski runs, this ski area is not only suitable for beginners, but even advanced or expert skiers think this is a fun destination. The ski areas that lie in Sauerland include a total of about 100 km of ski slopes, if you add all small surrounding ski areas, and a dazzling 300 km of cross-country trails!
