Ski holidays in Franconian Jura

The ski area Franconian Jura (also known as the Fränkische Alb or Frankenalb) is located in Bavaria in southern Germany. Franconian Jura is located between the rivers Danube (Donau) and Main. Franconian Jura includes the winter sports villages of Entenberg, Osternohe-Schlossberg, and Schnaittach-Rothenberg. Skiers and snowboarders have access to a fairly modest number of ski slopes in the region. The Schlossberg in Osternohe is the largest ski area at just over one kilometre of downhill ski trails. Cross-country skiers are also offered some interesting terrain here. In Böhmenkirch, there is a wonderful network of cross-country tracks, more than 40 km long.
