Winter holiday village Fischen is located in the Allgäuer Alps in Germany. Fischen is part of the Hörnergruppe, a group of mountain peaks that are also home to neighboring villages as Balderschwang and Bolsterlang. The own ski area of Fischen does not have more than one kilometer of slopes, and is especially popular with children and beginners. It is possible to ski at night. Cross-country skiers will find more than 20km of trails here. Fischen in Allgau is also a kind of suburb of Oberstdorf, which is only a 10 minutes drive. Here you will find a huge ski area, one of the larger ones in Germany. Fischen is also known for its excellent Wellness facilities, Kneipp spas are all over in this village!

Slope information Allgäuer Alps - Fischen

The Allgäuer Alps are a collection of small and slightly larger ski resorts, totaling about 300 km of ski slopes. The ski areas are widely spread out. A number of well-known ski resorts, in particular, are recommended, including Fellhorn-Kanzelwand near Oberstdorf. This is one of the largest ski areas in Germany with nearly 50 km of ski runs. It actually consists of two main parts, Fellhorn / Kleinwalsertal in Austria, and Nebelhorn. In addition to the ski slopes in Oberstdorf, there are beautiful ski slopes around the Hörner (Hörnergruppe at Balderschwang, Bolsterlang, Obermaiselstein, Ofterschwang, and Fischen) and Oberjoch-Bad Hindelang ski areas.
