Snow village Fichtelberg and neighboring community Neubau are located in the Fichtelgebirge in Germany. Both use the ski area Bleaml Alm on the side of the Ochsenkopf. The ski slopes of Bleaml Alm are lit at night and there is also a fun slope for snow tubbing. This sled slope is part of the anual Fun On Snow-party, a competition where sleds are rebuild and have to make a funny or beautiful descent. Besides some nice runs, this area is especially extensive in its network of cross country tracks for cross-country skiers. With about 60km of tracks in the region around the Ochsenkopf this area is well equipped.
