Ski holidays in Brotterode

Brotterode is located in the Thüringer Forest in Germany. As Ski resort Brotterode is known for Ski jumping on the ski jump of Brotterode. The village is a training center for jumpers and has brought many ski jump champions. Besides ski jumping, it is also possible to ski in Brotterode: on the outskirts of the village towards Mommelstein there is a nice downhill slope for beginning skiers and snowboarders. The slope is about 700 meters long, and every Friday the descent is lit so you can also ski at night. With three cross-country tracks, certified by the DSV, and a nicely prepared walking route, there is a total network of about 30km cross-country tracks!

Skischools and ski hire in Brotterode

There are not many options to take ski lessons in Brotterode. The starting (or advanced) ski jumper can be guided to work on his technique though.
