Snow sports village Bolsterlang is located in the Allgäuer Alps.
Bolsterlang has its own ski area, the Hörner-Family Ski Resort where there are 20 kilometers of ski runs. (10km blue, 7km red and 4km black) The Hörnerbahn has the only FIS alpine downhill descent for men in the Allgäuer Alps.
The larger neighboring village of Oberstdorf is located just 7km away, skiers and snowboarders find one of the largest ski resorts in Germany there.
Slope information Allgäuer Alps - Bolsterlang
The Allgäuer Alps are a collection of small and slightly larger ski resorts, totaling about 300 km of ski slopes. The ski areas are widely spread out. A number of well-known ski resorts, in particular, are recommended, including Fellhorn-Kanzelwand near Oberstdorf. This is one of the largest ski areas in Germany with nearly 50 km of ski runs. It actually consists of two main parts, Fellhorn / Kleinwalsertal in Austria, and Nebelhorn. In addition to the ski slopes in Oberstdorf, there are beautiful ski slopes around the Hörner (Hörnergruppe at Balderschwang, Bolsterlang, Obermaiselstein, Ofterschwang, and Fischen) and Oberjoch-Bad Hindelang ski areas.

The apres-ski in Bolsterlang is very modest, but the Berggaststätte by the middle station on the slope is very cozy.
Snowboarding in Bolsterlang
Snowboarders have some great options especially in Oberstdorf. Fellhorn Park and Crystal Ground - Snowpark Kleinwalsertal have much to offer in freestyle obstacles, jumps, and halfpipes. In addition, this area has two beautiful boarder crosses.

There are three ski schools in Bolsterlang, all located by the ski lift in the village. These ski schools are: the Erste Skischule Bolsterlang, the New Ski and Snowboard Schule Bolsterlang and the Christian's Ski and Snowboard Schule with the Elan Test Center.
