Böhmenkirch is located in the Franconian Alb (Frankisch Alb) in Germany. Böhmenkirch has two small ski resorts: Ski Area Böhmenkirch-Schnittlingen (the Wald skilift) and Ski Resort Böhmenkirch-Treffelhausen (Ski lift Treffelhausen). Both ski areas have a slope of around 300 meters. Treffelhausen also allows skiing in the evenings on a lit ski slope. For cross-country skiers there is a number of challenging cross-country tracks in Böhmenkirch. The Heidhöfe-Loipe (maximaal 13km lang), the Messelberg-Loipe (ook max. 13km), the Ravenstein-Loipe (6km) and the Mauertal-Loipe (max 10km).
