Altenberg is situated in the Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains) in Germany. Both ski areas: Ski lift Schellerhau as well as Ski lift Geissing are nearby Altenberg. Skilift Altenberg is connected to Skilift Geissing ski area. In Altenberg, there is a small ski lift with one slope. This ski slope is open almost every night till 22:00. For snowboarders, there is also a small fun park and half pipe in Altenberg. Finally, there is also a special Snow-tubing lift.
