In the Haute Alpes, in the ski area known as La Forêt Blanche one of the ski resorts is the ski holiday village Vars. (Forms the ski area together with Risoul) This modern ski is a popular destination for families, because the facilities are perfect for young as well as old.

Slope information La Forêt Blanche - Vars

Both the slopes around Vars, as well as those in Risoul are easy and contain red and blue runs. The ski slopes are suitable for beginners and advanced skiers. With nearly 20 km of black runs the more experienced skier will certainly not be bored!

Apres ski in Vars

Vars has a lively apres-ski, with a large variety of fun bars and plenty to do besides the skiing.

Snowboarding in Vars

The possibilities for off-piste snowboarders are already perfect, but wait until you get to the snow park of Vars! With several different tracks with obstacles, a boardercross and a variety of modules such as handrails and high jump, you have plenty to do here. Every Wednesday there is a free barbecue for snowboarders!
