At the foot of the Galibier Pass, in the Haute Maurienne lies the ski holiday village Valloire. Together with Valmeinier this village forms a ski area, with most slopes starting in Valloire. Valloire has a village that is almost entirely composed of beautiful low-rise chalets, and therefore has the appearance of an authentic alp-village. A skiing holiday in the winter in Valloire is an invitation back in time!

Slope information Valloire-Valmeinier - Valloire

Most slopes are close to Valloire, but you can reach the ski slopes from Valmeinier with a short bus ride. For each level of skiing there is more than enough to find, from slopes for beginners to more advanced runs. The area has two internationally renowned competition-runways with descent of 1000 and more than 600 m, where even the absolute advanced are challenged to their limits!

Apres ski in Valloire

For each goal, there is something to do in Valloire, from young to old. The restaurants are excellent and the nightclub Le Slalom especially is packed every night and can be reommended. The events calendar is also packed, including an annual ice sculptures and snow sculpture festival!

Valloire (and the connected Valmeinier) is a great place for a snowboarder?s holiday, with 1 half pipe, 2 quarter pipes and a wonderful fun park for boarders; this is the place to be.
