Besse SuperBesse is situated in the village of Besse-et-Saint-Anastaise in the Massif du Sancy in the Auvergne. The city of Clermont-Ferrand is located approximately 50km away. Besse SuperBesse is also holder of the coveted Famille Plus Montagne label, a quality recognition for ski resorts suitable for families with children.

With a total of 43km of slopes Besse SuperBesse is a winter resort that is popular with families with children. The majority of the slopes are green and blue, offering a perfect suitability for beginning skiers and snowboarders. With good snow conditions the area is connected to the ski resort of Le Mont Dore which unlock a further 42km of slopes (25 green / blue, 6 red and 3 black runs). In total, the combined ski area offers 85km of slopes.

Skischools Superbesse

The French ski school of Besse (ESF SuperBesse) offers both ski, snowboard, telemark and cross country lessons. For the youngest there is entertainment by the Club Piou Piou (up to 4 years). Finally, the nearby ski resorts Chastreix-Sancy and Le Mont-Dore also have their own French ski school.
