Le Monêtier les Bains (Serre Che 1500) is part of the ski resort Serre-Chevalier. Monêtier les Bains has been well known for years for its wellness spa's and the famous monastery (Monêtier in French) that can be found alongside the mountains.

Slope information Serre-Chevalier - Le Monêtier les Bains

Serre Che is one of the top skiing destinations in France. With peaks above 2800 m, more than 250 km of slopes and fabulous off-piste opportunities around the Meije, this area also challenges the experienced skier. The off-piste descent 'Guibertes' is a tip for skiing or snowboarding cracks. The long runs around the tree lines for both beginners, advanced as well as absolute experts offer a week full of challenging skiing!

A visit to the hot baths at the spa's of Monêtier les Bains is an absolute must. Unwind completely here, if you really have given it your best after one day of skiing. With some nice restaurants, Monêtier les Bains is slightly calmer than the rest of the ski area, but an ideal ski holiday destination for winter sports fanatics and certainly a great destination to go out and relax.

Snowboarders have everything they want in Serre Chevalier and then some. With an open fun park in Le Monêtier les Bains, a beautiful half pipe in Villeneuve and two very long boardercross-runs, it seems already hard to top ... but wait until you go off piste !
