Ski holidays in La Clusaz

La Clusaz is one of the coolest skiing villages in the Haute-Savoie in the Massif de Aravis. In the village, visitors are involved in the traditions and customs of the locals. There are big welcome-races as well as shows performed by the local middle class and peasants at the entry of tourists into the village. The beautiful church is the undeniable centre of the village and the village square is nice for families, but also for young people!

The ski slopes in the area around the Massif des Aravis offer more than 200 km of slopes with something for everyone. The area of La Clusaz is connected to Le Grand Bornand through skibus, and therefore it is very attractive to take the Aravis skipas so you can enjoy the whole region. This area includes among other parts Manigod, Etale, Beauregard, Aiguille and Balme.

Despite the fact that La Clusaz very suitable for families, it also has a vibrant nightlife. With nice restaurants, bars, and two discotheques out here, apres-ski is good. A bit costly to enter, but one of the best places until late disco is "L'Ecluse" where the river Le Mure runs past under your feet as can be seen through the glass dance floor.
