Ski holidays in Aussois

Aussois is situated in the Vanoise in France. The charming resort village is remarkable for its old stone and wooden houses in the village center around a lovely village square. The village has a rich history that includes a number of historical ruins, an archaeological museum and an old bread oven (Four Banal) which is still in use.

Aussois Ski Area has a total of 55km downhill runs, the majority of which is suitable for novice skiers and snowboarders. Apart from just the Aussois ski area it is also possible to buy a ski pass for the Eski-Mo, which is also a combination-skipas giving access to the nearby ski resorts of Val Cenis,La Norma and Valfréjus. This suddenly makes 300km of slopes available.

In high season, Aussois has a Big Air Bag, where snowboarders and free skiers make spectacular jumps.

Skischools Aussois

Aussois has two large ski schools, the ESF (French ski school) and ESI (International Ski School). The ESF has about 40 ski instructors, and also has a kids club, the Club Piou-Piou, for children aged 3-4 years. Both ski schools are located in apartment complex Les Flocons d'Argent.
