One of the two main parts of the Paradiski ski area is ski resort Les Arcs. (together with La Plagne) Arc 2000 is the highest and therefore most snow certain part of Les Arcs, and thus the very popular sportsman choice! With mostly chalets and wooden bungalows, the village resembles increasingly an authentic ski holiday village.

Slope information Paradiski - Arc 2000

Paradiski offers slopes for everyone from novice skiers to the almost-pro. In Paradiski you can ski on other ski slopes each day. The Vanoise Express lift connects the slopes and it is the only one of its kind and one of the fastest and largest gondolas in the world. (The Vanoise Express makes it possible to carry 2000 people per hour!) The slopes at Peisey Vallandry are best suited for beginners. The slopes around the Col des Frettes and Col du Grand Retard are fun for different ability levels. The advanced find the slopes around the Aiguille Rouge in 2000 and around the Arc Villaroger challenging.

Apres ski in Arc 2000

Most apres-ski might be found at Arc 1600 and Arc 1800, but the restaurants at Arc 2000 have the most breathtaking view of the whole resort!

Snowboarding in Arc 2000

For snowboarders, Paradiski area offers a tremendous amount of facilities:a half pipe and the so-called 7-3 in La Plagne (an almost American like snow park that is unprecedented across France with a variety of modules spread over a 900 meter-long freestyle run) or the enormous Apocalypse Snow park in Les Arcs. (An equally large snow park with green, red and black (!) descents along a variety of modules)

Skischools and ski hire in Arc 2000

In Arc 2000, the ESF (French Ski School) has more than 130 ski instructors!
