This is a great resort. After skiing for over 25 yrs, i've conceeded, there is no point hunting around resort for that elusive perfect experience. Meribel is consistently good time after time.
The basics;
It is right in the middle of the largest ski area in the world.
It isn't down market, but not too expensive like neighbouring Courch.
The apres ski and entertainment (Jacks Bar, Rond Point, Altitude Festival) is superb
Chalets are more fun than large tour operators, Meribel has the greatest choice.
