Winter sports area Rovaniemi is the most northern ski resort from the Finnish Lapland. As the capital of this region, Rovaniemi is easily accessible, even directly, by airplane. From October onwards until late April the season is already in full swing, and it seems to last forever. The days start here a little earlier so you have enough time in the light, and afterwards everyone gets in their cozy cabin or hotel to enjoy the fireplace of the course and not miss an original Finnish sauna. This is where Santa Claus came from! Around the Arctic is the birthplace of Christmas in Finland, an experience that you can?t find anywhere else in the world!
