Ski holidays in Kasperske Hory

Ski Resort Kasperske Hory is situated in Bohemia (Sumava) in the Czech Republic. The ski area offers modern facilities and is situated near the German border. Thus, the local language is mainly German. The village is known for the gothic castle Kasperk, which towers high above the area, at 886 m. The two touristic routes that visit the castle and the area around the castle (one western and one eastern) are both highly recommended.

Ski Kasperske Hory has two t-bar ski lifts and one single drag lift. The ski area is popular because despite its small size, it is very snow certain and it is open for evening skiing. A snow tubing slope has recently been added. On top of the downhill ski slopes, there are approximately 40 km of cross country trails.
