Ski holidays in Las Araucarias

Las Araucarias ski resort is located on the flank of the Llaima volcano about 82km from Temuco in the Conguillio National Park in Chile. Thanks to the beautiful volcanic terrain in and around Las Araucarias, it is one of the most incredible ski holiday destinations in Chile. The name of the resort finds its origin in the old tree, the Araucaria, you can see all over the entire national park. The ski season in Las Araucarias runs from early July to late September.

Ski Area Las Araucarias has a modest size with a total of 10 downhill runs (350 hectares). The resort has one lift of 950 meters long, one with a length of 650 meters, one totalling 1350 meters and 3 ski lifts with about 200 meters in length.

There is a small ski school in Las Araucarias that offers lessons to both beginners and advanced skiers.
