Ski holidays in El Fraile

El Fraile ski resort is located near Coyhaique in Chile. The season in El Fraile (Centro de Ski El Fraile) lasts from June t / m September. There is no accommodation in El Fraile, most skiers come here for a day from Coihaique, where there are some hostels / hotels. The slopes are normally open all week with a day pass very reasonably priced at about 10-15 USD.

The slopes of El Fraile, a total of only 2km of piste (vertical drop of approximately 800 meters). The slopes are connected by 2 lifts. The ski area is particularly suitable for beginners.

Snowboarding El Fraile

For both off-piste skiers and snowboarders, El Fraile has some great powder runs next to the groomed slopes.

Skischools El Fraile

There is a small ski school in El Fraile, its possible to book their lessons at the cafe, that also serves as a ski rental shop.
