The ski resort of Whistler-Black Comb is spread over two mountain giants: Mount Whistler and Black Comb Mountain. Whistler-Black Comb offers ski slopes where you could entertain yourself for weeks with other prepared and off-piste descents. The peak-to-peak gondola brings you from Whistler to Black Comb (and vice-versa) without having to take a ski-bus. Nearly all stats sound unbelievable: the collection of lifts offers a joint capacity of 65,507 skiers per hour; the ski area has three separate glaciers - more than 250km of prepared ski slopes - The longest descent is almost 11km long, the typically Canadian Heliskiing (dropped via helicopter in a off-piste area), and Catskiing (a track bully / track preparation machine drops you at a location where people have not yet gone skiing/boarding that day).
The snow sports area Whistler Black Comb has a great variety to offer for freestyle snowboarders. The Whistler Black Comb Nintendo Terrain Parks have a total of 8 different funparks, so you can visit another funpark area almost every day, and meanwhile enjoy the surrounding powder snow! On mount Whistler there is the Habitat Terrain Park, which is divided into two different levels. Around and on the Black Comb Mountain, you have the Terrain Garden for beginner-level freestyle boarders, the Nintendo Terrain Park, the so-called Super Pipe?, the Snow Cross Track (now an Olympic freestyle discipline), the Summer Glacier Terrain Park and The Highest Level (for the top pro's). Freestyle Valhalla!
