Whistler Ski Resort-Black Comb is located in British Columbia in Canada. About 2 hours drive from Vancouver makes the ski resort easily accessible from any part of the world.
Whistler-Blackcomb is not for nothing the world's most famous ski resort, this is the absolute ultimate for any skiër or snowboarder. In addition to the great winter sports facilities it alsohas apres-ski activities and besides skiing you'll enjoy beautiful Canadian accommodation and hospitality.
The ski slopes are the official venue for the downhill ski and snowboard events of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in Vancouver in 2010. The winners ceremonies of these events will be held in Whistler (in the village center).

The ski resort of Whistler-Black Comb is divided on these two mountain giants Mount Whistler and Black Comb Mountain.
Whistler-Black Comb offers ski slopes where you could entertain yourself for weeks with other prepared and off-piste descents. The peak-to-peak gondola brings you from Whistler to Black Comb (and vice-versa) without you having to take a skibus.
Nearly all stats sound unbelievable almost:
- The collection lifts offer a joint capacity of 65,507 skiërs per hour
- The ski area has three separate glaciers
- more than 250km of prepared ski slopes
- The longest descent is almost 11km long
The typically Canadian Heliskiing (dropped via helicopter in a a offpiste area), and Catskiën (a trackbully / track preparation machine drops you at a location where people have not yet gone skiing/boarding that day).

The Whistler Black Comb Nintendo Terrain Parks have a total of 8 different fun parks, so you can visit another funpark area almost every day, and meanwhile enjoy the surrounding powder snow!
On mount Whistler there is the Habitat Terrain Park, which is divided into two different levels. Around and on the Black Comb mountain, you then have the Terrain Garden for beginning freestyle boarders, the Nintendo Terrain Park, the so-called "Super Pipe, the Snow Cross Track (now an Olympic freestyle discipline), the Summer Glacier Terrain Park and The Highest Level (for the top pro's).

The Whistler Black Comb Ski & Snowboard School offers a variety of classes for young and old. You can follow private lessons and choose a group to follow in beginner, advanced or expert level.
For kids, there are ski camps, and also features an course with an entire week of freeride lessons in one of the many fun parks!
