Ski holidays in Panorama

The Panorama Ski Area is located in the Purcell Mountains in British Columbia in Canada. The Panorama Resort is within a few hours drive from Calgary, and is therefore relatively easy to reach from any place in the world. Founded in 1962, Panorama Resort is a relatively new ski resort where year after year new developments have been added. With beautiful panoramic views from the top of the mountains (as the name already suggests), the ski resort is increasingly popular.

Slope information Panorama - Panorama

The ski slopes of Panorama Resort are especially suitable for advanced skiers. More than half of the slopes are red. With more than 120 ski runs and a large number of snow bowls you will not be bored for a minute. The world cup ski slopes Old Timer and Hay Fever are the setting during the year for several downhill ski and snowboard events in Panorama. For Nordic skiers, the area also hosts the Beckie Scott Nordic Center (named after a Canadian Olympic gold winner) with approximately 20km of cross country tracks.

Snowboarding Panorama

Panorama Ski resort has two fun parks. For beginning freestyle boarders there is the Small-Medium Terrain Park, near the village center. The largest freestyle snowboarding park in the Rocky Mountains is here in Panorama: The Showoff Terrain Park.

Skischools Panorama

The Panorama School of skiing and snowboarding is still operated by the Bilodeau family and offers lessons in snowboarding or skiing, or trying out heli skiing for the first time!
