Ski holidays in Canada
A ski holiday in one of the snow sports resorts in Canada is certainly more than worthwhile! The landscape and wildlife in Canada is all about extremes. Beautiful forests, coast to vast lakes and mountain plateaus. The ski resorts in Canada are divided over the whole country, and among others in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec. Most of the famous ski resorts are located in the Canadian Rocky Mountains (divided between British Columbia and Alberta and the mountain chain that houses the most ski areas in the United States) Canadian ski resorts have great quality ski runs, diversity and length in slopes, snowboard fun parks and even heli-skiing or catskiing is often possible. The most famous ski resort in Canada is undoubtedly Whistler-Black Comb, located in British Columbia, and also acts as the host of the ski and snowboard events of the Olympic Games in Vancouver in 2010.
