Next to skiing or snowboarding you can also enjoy an ice rink, biathlon shooting range and an entertainment program around the ski slopes. The valley station Banderisjhka is very nice, and both the slopes, and the après-ski keep getting better every year. Don't expect Austrian atmosphere, but this place is a favorite in Eastern Europe!

The ski slopes of Bansko ski area are spread over two different ski areas. The lower Chaline Valog (up to 1600 m) and Shiligarnika (topping 2500 m). With almost 70 km of dedicated ski slopes, Bansko is also the number one in length of descents in Eastern Europe. Slopes are better kept than in recent years, and there are more and more snow making machines along the ski slopes, making the ski season a while longer and keeping the ski slopes in constant good condition.
