Ski holidays in Zillertal

The ski area Zillertal is located in the Tirol region in Austria. The area is characterized by the big amount of skiing possibilities. It is a true Eldorado for skiers and snowboarders, but also for cross-country skiers and hikers. There are a number of famous après-ski places where many young people go each year. The ski area consists of the ski resorts Gerlos, Zell am Ziller, Finkenberg, Hippach, Mayrhofen, Hintertux, Hochfügen, Fügen and Kaltenbach. Especially Gerlos and Mayrhofen are known for their vibrant nightlife.

Zillertal offers more than 600 kilometers of groomed slopes and about 150 lifts! The broad valley offers excellent hiking and cross country, while the surrounding mountains are totally covered with lifts. Not all ski areas in the Zillertal are connected to one another. Zillertal is divided into 3 smaller ski areas, within those smaller ski areas all routes are connected to each other. These are the ski areas: Zillertal Arena, Ski Zillertal 3000 and Hochillertal.

Zillertal offers excellent snowboard facilities. There are no less than 5 funparks with many halfpipes, quarterpipes and multiple modules.
