In the Ötztal, close to the well-known ski resort Sölden lies the small town Vent in Tyrol. Vent has a small private ski area, mostly attractive for beginners, while advanced skiers may be attracted more by Sölden where the possibilities are enormous. The idyllic village of Vent with a beautiful church in the hills is flanked by the Wildspitze, with 3774m the highest mountain in Tyrol!

The ski area is very versatile. In addition to all the standard features, Ötztal offers 2 glacier areas and spicy mogul runs. Most of the slopes are average in terms of difficulty. There are some very spicy off-slope areas, but these are the playground for experts only.

With more than 10 restaurants where the schnitzel is famous, this quiet village is the perfect setting for a wonderfull skiing holiday with the family. Those who still want a night out can enjoy an evening in Sölden or relax at the welness-spa of Längenfeld.

Snowboarding is very popular in the Oetztal. Because of its popularity, the area provides the most modern facilities for boarding: halfpipes, boardercross, quarterpipe, high jump, rails, diamonds, half-diamonds, fried egg, fun-box spins and jumps.

With a small ski school of about 20 ski instructors, Vent offers enough for both beginners and advanced to learn. The ski slopes of nearby Sölden offer the advanced days full of different ski runs.
