The ski area of Stubaier Alps is best known for its children driven facilities and the many hiking trails. The most challenging slopes are around the Stubaier Glacier. The après-ski in this area is generally modest at best. It's just a very pleasant ski area for a quiet family holiday.

Apart from the Stubaier Glacier, you can find a number of other ski areas in the Stubaital: ski area Schlick 2000, ski resort Elfer (close to Neustift) and the ski slopes of Serles (next to Mieders and Fulpmes).
