The ski resort Sportgastein is located in the ski area Gasteinertal in the Salzburg region. As the name suggests it's a Sporty village, where it is all about: Skiing! The high altitude of this area makes the snow conditions very good.

Spread over 5 subskiareas, Gasteinertal offers more than 200 kilometres of ski runs. Gasteinertal is also part of the Skiverbond Amade, giving you access to the surrounding areas, such as the Salzburg Sports, Dachstein Tauern, Schladming and Hochkönigs Winterreich.

Apres ski in Sportgastein

Sportgastein is not a village with a cozy centre, for that you have to be in the other resorts in the Gasteinertal. There is practically no apres-ski in Sportgastein.

Snowboarding in Sportgastein

The best Funpark of Gasteinertal lies in Dorfgastein. Here you will find a half pipe, a quarterpipe and a boardercross track. Several half-pipes can always be found in any of the villages.
