The ski resort Seefeld is located in the ski resort of Seefeld-Leutasch in the Tyrol region. If you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then the authentic and mundane Seefeld is the ski resort to go to. The more than 50 years old center is stylish and traffic free, so on foot you will feel at ease for a snack or a drink. The city is also regularly used for various events. In the first place Seefeld offers cross-country trails and hiking trails and secondly 2 ski areas. Don't forget to bring your swimsuits, because in the sportscentre Olympia is a real indoor swimming pool. The pointed roofs and wooden balconies provide a typical Austrian appearance. A pleasant ski holiday reasort without exciting descents.

The Gschwandtkopf is the first ski resort where most beginners start. For a more advanced skier it will not be very challenging, but for beginners this is the place to learn skiing. On the other side of Seefeld lies the ski resort Rosshütte/Härmelekopf, with a decline of more than 750 meters.

Snowboarding in Seefeld

This is the place to learn how to snowboard. If you are looking for Funparks and you want to practice jumps, then you have to go to Rosshütte. There is a funpark and a halfpipe. Boarders who really want to go to the extreme, need to go to Mittenwald, and to try the Karwendel descent of the Zugspitze.
