Ski holidays in Scheffau

Ski holiday village Scheffau lies in the winter sports area Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental in the region Tyrol. Scheffau (Scheffau am Wilder Kaiser) is centrally located between the skiing areas in the Brixental. It's great for the real ski fanatics, but if you are looking for more entertainment, you're not in the right place. The small village is uneventful, but the ski facilities and flow to the surrounding areas have been fantastic.

Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental has more than 250 kilometers of interconnected slopes. With sufficient snow, it is possible to tour to all villages in the area. Virtually the entire area is equipped with the most modern lifts. Once you are on the slopes, it is often very quiet. Something you would not expect, because of the crowded elevators in the morning. Because the ski area is not very high, there is slightly less snow. This is well compensated with the many snowguns, but the slopes in the low valleys are not always nice. At most 10% of all descents are black, which makes the area more suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers.

Scheffau doesn't really have a lively apres-ski. It's really the skiing itself here that people come for.

Snowboarding in Scheffau

For snowboarders, there are more than 5 halfpipes, several funparks and some quarterpipes. Especially the Fun park in Westendorf and the trails around the Hohe Salve summit for boarders. Near Scheffau you will find the most difficult powder descents.
