The small skiing holiday village in Rennweg am Katschberg is located in Carinthia and very easy to reach from the Austrian Autobahn. Because the village also borders on the area of Hoher Tauern and Salzburg, it is sometimes placed in those provinces. The ski area of Rennweg am Katschberg (Lungau-Katschberg) has approximately 65 km of beautiful ski slopes and snow reports are maintained in perfect condition here by the high altitude and huge amount of snow cannons. Rennweg am Katschberg is ideal for a family vacation, and because of a recently developed holiday park in the region there are also enough shops, cafes, ski instructors and emergency services. The children's entertainment area Katschi's for the smallest among us offers all sorts of cartoon characters on the ski slopes!

Slope information Lungau-Katschberg - Rennweg

The Katschberg ski area offers approximately 65 km of beautiful slopes. The snowy conditions are perfectly maintained by the high altitude and huge amount of snow cannons. The Lungau-Katschberg ski area combines three major ski sectors: the ski slopes of the Katschberg-Aineck, the descents of the Grosseck-Speiereck and the ski slopes around Fanningberg.

Apres ski in Rennweg

Despite the small size of the town Rennweg it does have a lively apres-ski, which begins here from 4 o'clock in the afternoon along the slopes. The Toboggan in the evening in the Gamskogelhütte and the Live Music in the daily Lachenstadl is very nice!
