In Pettneu most skiing is about cross-country skiing, down in the valley there are 22 kilometres of crosscountry tracks. The small ski resort of Pettneu consists of 8 runs, most of which are suitable for novice skiers. The descent of Brandhütte to Lavenar Hotel is just a little harder and can even be a challenge for the more advanced skier. For snowboarders, there is a brand new freestyle park. There is also a ski school with a kids creche, a lighted toboggan, an active centre with indoor swimming pool, sauna and solarium, bowling and tennis club.
