The Paznauntal is located in the north of Tyrol in Austria. The largest ski area in Paznauntal is Silvretta Ski Arena. This area includes the ski resorts: Kappl, Ischgl, See and Galtür. By lift it is also possible to reach the Swiss ski resort Samnaun. This tax-free village is located high up in the mountains. All ski resorts are located at a relatively high altitude, making the snow conditions very good. The snowy landscapes will give you the ultimate ski-feeling. Galtür is the highest location. The relatively small villages Kappl, See and Galtür are very suitable for families with small children. The mundane Ischgl is the most important and largest ski resort in this area ? it offers many apres-ski possibilities.

Slope information Paznauntal - Paznauntal

In Ischgl, 1 of the 3 lifts will bring you to the large ski area Silvretta Ski Arena (more than 230 kilometers). Kappl, See and Galtür, each have their own small ski area. The distance between the villages is quite small, so if you're in one of the smaller villages it is easy to go ski in the larger ski area. If you like off-piste skiing, you can take a snowcat with your guide you to the Piz Val Gronda of the Heidelberger-hutte, from where you can enjoy wonderful untouched slopes.

Snowboarding Paznauntal

Snowboarders can enjoy the largest snow park of Europe. It has 30 obstacles for each level. Also take a look at the halfpipe where the Tube world championships are held.

Skischools Paznauntal

There is one ski school in Ischgl with more than 100 ski instructors. Advanced skiers also have the option of choosing 'Snowsport Unlimited', a ski school that offers avalanche courses and offpiste lessons. Kappl, See and Galtür also have a separate ski school.
