Ski holidays in Oberinntal

The Oberinntal is an area that includes several villages and ski resorts. The most famous village-trio is: Serfaus - Fiss - Ladis. The ski resort Venet is formed by the villages Landeck and Zams, with enough challenges for each level. The peaks of around 3000 meters make this area really suitable for a snowy holiday. One of the villages near the Kaunertal Glacier in the Oberinntal is Feichten, which is also near the ski resort of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. The beautiful Nauders is very close to the Swiss and Italian border. Nauders lies in the Reschenpass ski area, and it has a great history. Centrally located in the Oberinntal (Tiroler Oberland) is the beautiful village of Pfunds. The village is located near Switzerland, and has an excellent connection to the slopes of the Kaunertal Glacier and the ski area of Fendels. The ski area in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is easy to reach.

The most important and biggest ski resort in this region is that of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis with 185 kilometers of slopes. Waiting at the lift is not necessary, since 70,000 people can go up per hour in Serfaus. There are three major ski resorts in the Oberinntal: Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis (by far largest) , Kaunertal and the Venet Region. The 6 ski pass (Serfaus-fiss-Ladis, Venet, Nauders, Fendels and Kaunertal) is a great choice for people who would like to enjoy all the ski slopes throughout the Oberinntal.

Snowboarding Oberinntal

For snowboarders and freeriders there is enough to enjoy in Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis. There are two large funparks and boardercrosses. Many nice events are organized by the local boarderclub.

Skischools Oberinntal

The Skischule Serfaus is enormous and has no less than 300 ski instructors who can also teach in English (schischule-serfaus.com). The Skischule Fiss-Ladis, has no less than 280 ski instructors and can also give lessons in English. (Skischule-fiss-ladis.at)
