In the ski area Joglland in Styria is the small ski holiday town of Mönichwald. Mönichwald lies on the sunny side of the slopes of the snowy slopes of Joglland. This skiing holiday area is especially popular with families with small children where one specfic event: he Knax Ski World Experience is very popular with the youngest among us!

The total Joglland area is separated in 4 ski resorts, each with only a few kilometers of slopes. The total length of the slopes in these 4 ski resorts is 18 kilometers. (this is 13km blue, red 4.5 km and 0.5 km only black) The breakdown is: The slopes around Hauereck: 3 km blue 1.5 km red black 0.5 km (3 draglifts) area of Strallegg: 3 km red runs (2 draglifts) The ski resort of Wenigzell: 2 km blue slopes (2 drag lifts and a babylift) at St. Jakob im Walde ski area: 1 km of blue slopes, 3 km of red slopes (2 t-bar lifts, and 2 chairlifts) The ski area at Monichwald: 1 km blue slopes, 4 km red runs (2 t-bar lifts, and 2 chairlifts). In addition to these different tracks, the region is also famous for its cross-country trails: The Joglland-Loipe (in 2006 rewarded as the most beautiful track of Austria) and the Waldheimat-Loipe are the most famous.
