The Molltaler glacier is located in the Carinthia region near the Ankogel Ski resort. The Molltaler Glacier is the only glacier in the ski area of Carinthia. It is a true ski and snowboard Eldorado. The modern ski lifts can bring you to over 3100 metres. At around 2800 metres altitude there are some great cross-country skiing possibilities. For snowboarding there is a nice Funpark with halfpipe and boardercross. As in all glacier skiing areas in Austria, the landscape is breathtakingly beautiful!

Slope information Glaciers - Mölltaler Glacier

Crispy white snow and beautiful wide slopes are guaranteed. The beauty of the Glaciers areas in Austria is that they offer many possibilities for skiing for the less experienced or even for novice skiers. There is often a varied range of slopes in combination with good ski schools. The biggest Glacier area is the Stubaier Gletscher with more than 100 kilometers of slopes for all levels. In total, Austria offers more than 300 kilometers of slopes on Glaciers.

Apres ski in Mölltaler Glacier

On the Molltaler glacier there is a panorama-restaurant at 2800 metres altitude. Besides this mountain side restaurant there are a few mountain huts and two bars. Surprisingly there are many apres ski possibilities in this glacier area.

Skischools and ski hire in Mölltaler Glacier

On the Molltaler glacier there is 1 ski school, where you can also rent skis and other skiing gear. There is also a special ski club for the youngest children.
