The ski resort Klippitztörl is located near the larger and wellknown St. Leonhard. Klippitztörl is a small alpine village in southern Carinthia, in the Saualpe region. It has a small but versatile local ski area around the village, and it is primarily targeting families with children. Within the Lavanttal, Klippitztörl is known as the top resort in terms of atmosphere and authentic centre!
Slope information Saualpe - Klippitztörl
With 3 smaller ski areas, the area of the Saualpen is spread out over 3 ski centers: The Hebalm has a total of 11km of slopes, which are especially suitable for beginners and families with children (not too hard). The slopes at Klippitztörl are already significantly more advanced, with a total of 28 kilometers of runs. Most of the 28 km are suitable for novice skiers and snowboarders. Koralpe has also 28km of slopes, but they are a lot better divided by almost half a challenging red slopes, and a spicy black descent from the top of the Steinschober (2070m high). The cross-country trails in this area are around the Hebalm.

The apres-ski in Klippitztörl is limited, the village has a pleasant appearance and center, but the huts on top of the slopes are actually the most recommended.

Especially the snow park in the Koralpe is worth to try, with a halfpipe, Boxes, 3 high Jumps, Slides and Rails.
