Kaprun and the Kitzsteinhorn lie in Europe Sportregion ski resort in the Salzburg region. The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier is the only skiing glacier in Salzburg. Kaprun and the Kitzsteinhorn actually belong together. The summit of the Kitzsteinhorn extends to over 3200 metres, the ski lift takes you to just over 3000 meters. The nice thing about this Glacier is the variety of slopes. Here you can enjoy crystal clear snow and the fantastic views of the mountain tops.
