In the Zillertal between Fügen & Zell am Ziller lies the modern ski holiday destination Kaltenbach. Hochzillertal, the ski area where Kaltenbach is connected to offers more than enough challenge for every level of skiing or snowboarding. Almost the entire season the ski run down into the village Kaltenbach is open, because the slopes are equipped with a large number of snow canons. The village also has beautiful waterfalls at only 25 minutes walking from the centre, that you absolutely must have seen!

Slope information Zillertal - Kaltenbach

Zillertal offers more than 600 kilometers of groomed slopes and about 150 lifts! The broad valley offers excellent hiking and cross country, while the surrounding mountains are totally covered with lifts. Not all ski areas in the Zillertal are connected to one another. Zillertal is divided into 3 smaller ski areas, within those smaller ski areas all routes are connected to each other. These are the ski areas: Zillertal Arena, Ski Zillertal 3000 and Hochillertal.
