Close to duo-village Obergurgl in Tyrol in the Ötztal, is situated the skiing village Hochgurgl. Hochgurgl has great snow reports and varied slopes and almost all hotels can be reached on ski. The Hohe Mut, a black mogul slope, has recently expanded and there is a new restaurant on the top of this mountain.

Slope information Ötztal - Hochgurgl

The ski area is very versatile. In addition to all the standard features, Ötztal offers 2 glacier areas and spicy mogul runs. Most of the slopes are average in terms of difficulty. There are some very spicy off-slope areas, but these are the playground for experts only.

Apres ski in Hochgurgl

The Apres-ski in Hochgurgl is good. Both on the highest mountain (Hohe Mut) and in the village are great restaurants and cafes, and the nightlife is open to till early into the morning. Try the African Bar and Austria Keller!

Snowboarding in Hochgurgl

Snowboarding is very popular in the Oetztal. Because of its popularity, the area provides the most modern facilities for boarding: halfpipes, boardercross, quarterpipe, high jump, rails, diamonds, half-diamonds, fried egg, fun-box spins and jumps.
