The ski village Hinterglemm is situated in the Skicircus Saalbach / Hinterglemm in the Salzburg region. Saalbach Hinterglemm are often pronounced together, because they are close to each other. Still, a skiing holiday can be very different in Hinterglemm. Both villages are well situated for the ski area. Before there was cheaper than Saalbach Hinterglemm thanks to its larger new apartment-complexes, but that is changing rapidly. Both villages are now largely car free. This keeps the snow in the village well and the large number of apres-skiers can walk around safely. Hinterglemm is one of those places that always do well in international apres-ski research.

All together Saalbach-Hinterglemm offers more than 200 kilometers of ski runs. The great advantage is that virtually all lifts lead into the center of the villages. The elevators go up on both sides of the Glemmtal. The most centrally located place is Saalbach. There are only a few tracks that are really made for cracks only, but there is enough challenging terrain for everyone. The ski area is characterized by broad slopes and little off-slope areas. Almost every corner of this area can be explored.

Skiing in Hinterglemm lets you enjoy apres ski as it is supposed to be in Austria. There are many exuberant apres-ski options, which party until the early hours of the morning. In the countless cafes, discos and typical English pubs you will be sure of a great evening day in, day out.

There are two gigantic funparks. One is located in Hinterglemm and the other in Leogang. The parks are between 200 and 300 meters long and are equipped with excellent facilities including: 4 funboxes, 2 Corners, 3 Big Air, Jumps Straight 2, 3 Rails.
