The small alpine ski resort Großkirchheim is located in the Großglockner ski area in the Hohe Tauern National Park (Falkert) in the Carinthia region. Together with the slightly larger Heiligenblut, Großkirchheim makes the ski area 'Skiparadise Heiligenblut'. In this ski area is Austria's highest mountain, the Grossglockner (3798 m). In Großkirchheim is a small skilift. The area is perfect for cross-country skiing and a romantic winter hike!
