The ski area Achensee is located in the Tirol region in Austria. Achensee is formed of Achenkirch, Maurach, Pertisau am Achensee, and Wiesing Steinberg villages. The biggeeest ski area is that of Achenkirch. The small-scale ski area is popular because of the the many ski activities around the lake. Despite the fact that many tourists have discovered this ski area the price level is still relatively low.

Slope information Achensee - Achensee

Most slopes in the region are suitable for beginners to advanced skiers. The easy descents are in the ski area around Pertisau. There is also a nice off-piste section and there is a Buckelpiste. The Achensee ski resort has three major ski area sectors: the ski slopes at Christlum, the descents at the Zwöllerkopf and the ski area around Rofan.
