Ski holidays Lofer

Having taken large parties of school children to Lofer for over 20 years, I have no hestitation in recommending this resort to skiers for the first 2 years and it is also fine for 3rd year skiers who are steady and average skiers. The nursery slopes are brilliant as the are totally self contained and easy to supervise. The transition to the other available slopes is also very good. I have normally been there at Eastertime and have never had any snow problems other thatn it is not usual to be able to ski beyond the middle station but as the vally run from the middle station is nothing to write home about, that is not a problem. Most of the good slopes are about the cable car top station and are served by some good chair lifts. Restaurants on the mountare good and getting served is not a problem on most days. Apres ski is ok but there are only 2 discos/nightclubs and I would not recommend it to the nightlife set but it is possible to party if you want to.
