Ski holidays in Canillo

The ski resort Canillo is located in the Grandvalira ski area in the Andorran Pyrenees. Of all the ski resorts in this area, Canillo is certainly one of the most sociable. Many tourists from the more sporty villages Soldeu and El Tarter therefore come to Canillo to enjoy a snack and a drink. Though small, the local ski area of Canillo is certainly worthwhile.

Grandvillara includes four elongated valleys. It is the largest ski area in Andorra with many picturesque ski resorts. There are about 200 kilometers of ski runs and 35 kilometers of cross country trails. Grandvillara excels in beauty and is very enjoyable to just be in these magnificent surroundings and take advantage of the fantastic climate. The area is particularly suitable for beginners and average skiers.

Apres ski in Canillo

Canillo has some very nice après-ski accomodations. The nightlife is very cozy. Try the Pub Camping Pia and the Pub la Roda. No major Austrian parties, but certainly enough to do.

Snowboarding in Canillo

The ski area has many facilities for snowboarders. There are several fun parks in El Tarter, Pas de la Casa and Grau.

The total the Grandvalira ski area has 450 ski instructors. In Canillo is the Canillo Ski and Snowboard School.
